Are you prepared for your first VO sessions? Can you confidently walk into any studio in California and kick butt on any script set before you?
The answer can be found by taking the SESSION SIMULATOR.
The SESSION SIMULATOR is just what it sounds like. We will simulate a high-pressure session and see how you perform in an actual professional studio environment.
The goal is to arm yourself with the VO skills needed to reach a FINAL TAKE in approximately seven takes or less.
This is the most effective teaching technique I've ever encountered. In fact… it's A VO INSTRUCTIONAL BREAKTHROUGH!
Why? Every flaw and bad habit in your VO delivery will be EXPOSED!
The good news is that EVERY FLAW can be CORRECTED as we go through the simulation. Step by step, you will learn:
• Interpretation: Feeling, marking copy, back-story, phrasing, emphasis, pauses, inflection, consistency and eliminating sing-song.
• Technical skills: Enunciation, body clock, breath-support, working the mic, eliminating mouth and sinus noises.
• Focus and relieving nervousness/tension
• Mental Skills: CONFIDENCE!
When you are able to pick up any script within your VO demo range and complete a FINAL TAKE within 7 takes under my direction… You are SESSION READY! You are "Field Tested". You now can walk into any studio in California to perform and hold your own, reading like a pro… because you are a VO PROFESSIONAL!
