Basic stage acting for VO actors
How to breathe properly and support your voice. Stage actors didn’t have microphones so needed to project without harming their vocal chords.
Movement for the actor. A lot of animation today uses the VO actor’s movements and gestures to create the character during the animation stage.
Focus. Various methods used to enable the actor to block out everything around them and be able to create a “real world” that they inhabit while recording in a plain booth.
Having a B. A. in Theatre (Acting) from UCLA as well as the coveted M. F. A. in acting (only 6 women per year are admitted to the UCLA acting program), this wide breadth of training enables me to customize lessons to your individual needs.
